Vast resources enable REMSA 教育 to provide lifesaving educational opportunities from babysitting courses to a full accredited 护理人员 program.

Our staff of experienced clinicians and educators ensure that courses are relevant and taught using the latest research and current standards ensuring students are prepared for certification exams and to respond when it matters most.

REMSA offers a private, 许可, post-secondary education center with an accredited paramedic program. 紧急 Medical Technician (EMT), Advanced 紧急 Medical Technician (AEMT), and 护理人员 courses are available throughout the year. In addition, refresher courses are offered for all of the EMS disciplines.

护理人员s are trained in advanced cardiac life support, neonatal 复苏, pediatric advanced life support and 创伤 life support. They have a vast knowledge of medications, cardiac interpretations and anatomy. 护理人员s also have advanced skill sets allowing them to perform in-the-field lifesaving procedures.

EMT

Becoming an EMT is the building block of an EMS career. As an EMT you learn how to control and manage bleeding, 冲击, pregnancy complications, minor to moderate burns, 心肺复苏, 创伤, and allergic reactions. You will also learn basic medication administration, 评估s and vehicle operations.

AEMT

AEMT competencies include the recognition, 评估, and management of medical and 创伤 emergencies and provides prehospital emergency care to acutely ill or injured patients. AEMTs have expanded knowledge on anatomy, 生理学, 技能, and medication administration from the EMT level.

REMSA offers classes to meet the needs of the lay rescuer and the advanced clinician. Community members can take basic 心肺复苏 and First Aid courses designed to prepare them to recognize and respond to an emergency and provide care that can save a life.

Bleeding Control for the Injured (B-Con)

Students will learn how to manage life-threatening blood loss through the use of tourniquet application, 伤口包装, and use of hemostatic dressings.

This course teaches one-rescuer 心肺复苏, Automated External Defibrillator use, and relief of choking in adults, 孩子们, 和婴儿. The use of barrier devices for all ages will also be covered.

This course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until a professional help arrives. Course content includes Rescuer Safety, Recognition of Emergencies, General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies.

The 孩子照顾 Babysitting Class is designed to teach adolescents the basics of caring for young 孩子们. Techniques for setting up babysitting opportunities, 换尿布, 奶瓶喂养, ABC's of safe sleep, playtime activities, and taking charge of situations while babysitting is covered.

For healthcare providers, REMSA offers full and recertification courses in both BLS and advanced provider domains. Experienced medical providers can continue their education in courses offered by the AHA, NAEMT, 以及ITLS.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

This course provides the knowledge and 技能 needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia arrest.
